It's Tax Season! Take Advantage of Free Tax services

Once again it's tax season. Probably one of the most stressful times of year, outside of the pressures you might feel during the holidays or, if you are a law student, taking a law school exam. Take a deep breath. There are some easy and FREE resources you might be able to use.

MyFreeTaxes is a free, safe and easy way for individuals to file their federal and state taxes for free. It is the only free, national, online tax filing product offered by a nonprofit. The service is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), United Way, and community non-profit tax coalition partners (like Western Michigan University Cooley Law School). It is completely open to the public.

The IRS also offers free e-filing for those earning under $69,000 through many [otherwise paid] providers. You can get more information about the Freefile Program by going HERE. Happy filing!
